Salary: Grade 2b - £19,380 - £26,520 plus benefits

Closing date: Wednesday 28th February 2018

Job ref: FE-Mat-18

An exciting opportunity has arisen to continue and expand the Trust’s community fundraising and events – organising and providing high quality activities and engagement opportunities.

Could you:

  • Encourage and nurture the involvement of new audiences and existing members?
  • Help achieve the Trust’s vision?
  • Bolster funds for wildlife?
  • Inspire people to take action and support local wildlife?

You would be overseeing the 2018 programme of events and community fundraising schemes, plus looking ahead to 2019 for exciting opportunities of event delivery and fundraising. A critical part of the role will be to monitor and evaluate the events plus maintain and build existing partnerships for fundraising.

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who will help us deliver our core aims through managing our events programme, ensuring a professional and seamless delivery. This essential role of developing and delivering events will also provide positive opportunity for people to connect with their local wildlife. The post holder will play a key role in managing and delivering a number of community fundraising schemes, so an adaptable and innovative approach is essential.

With excellent organisational skills, the successful candidate will have a good background in managing and delivering events, managing partnerships and developing fundraising opportunities. Importantly, you will be able to demonstrate your ability and your passion for people and wildlife.

We believe this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real and lasting contribution and help build our work. If this is you, we would love to hear from you. In return we can offer a great place to work in a supportive and friendly environment.
