Visitor Centre Manager

Salary: £24,480 - £30,600 (WWT Grade 3a)

This is an exciting opportunity based at our Parkridge Visitor Centre in Brueton Park, Solihull.

The Parkridge Centre receives in excess of 100,000 visitors per year. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the facilities at the Centre, including overseeing café operations, retail, delivery of events and working with colleagues to deliver a fantastic experience for our visitors, engaging them with the work of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

The ideal candidate will have some managerial experience, gained in a similar, customer-focused setting, and will have a passion for the natural environment. The work will also include the recruitment, training and coordination of volunteers. Good administrative and basic financial skills are essential. Some weekend and bank holiday working will be required.

The post will involve working with children and the successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal record check.
