Learn and Discover Volunteers

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust has education centres at its sites in Coventry and Solihull and is looking for volunteers to help run a wide range of activities for children and families aimed at providing a hands-on approach to wildlife in a fun but educational way.

Volunteer Education Session Leaders

Gain experience in teaching and working outdoors as a volunteer Education Session Leader:

We need your help leading and assisting school groups ranging from 3-19 years old who come to our Visitor Centres for practical activities linked to the National Curriculum. We're especially busy with school groups from April - July but training will be provided before the busy period starts.

You will be taking groups of around 20 school children and their teaching staff, and leading them through 4 activities in a day visit.

Based at either:

  • Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, Coventry
  • The Parkridge Centre, Solihull

Sessions may include Art in the Wild, Pond Dipping, Teddy Bear Adventure, Den Building, Minibeast Hunting, Mammal Discovery and many more.
