Cock Robin Wood youth project

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a small grant from Rugby Borough Council’s Rural Development Fund to deliver a series of youth and community sessions in Cock Robin Wood Nature Reserve on the Dunchurch/Bilton border.

Through the project we hope to extend the appeal of the woodland to local people by offering Forest School activities to local schools and running public activity days. Young people in the older age group also have the chance to be involved in the practical management of the site, and learn a range of skills in tool use and conservation management. If your organisation works with people in need of work/ voluntary experience, this is great opportunity for anyone who enjoys outdoor, practical activities.
