Work Experience

Welcome to the work experience page! If you are between 14 and 17 you can apply to one of our work experience week programmes throughout the year. You will be part of a small team of young people who will join our regular work force, learn how we manage and care for our nature reserves and meet people doing a range of different roles at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. If you would like to attend a work experience programme with us, you should complete and return a work experience enquiry form which can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

2018 dates:

Monday 30th July - Friday 3rd August 2018 This week is now fully booked. New dates will be added here when they are available.

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust work experience offer individuals the chance to experience the workings of a small/ medium conservation charity that is responsible for the management of over 60 nature reserves, engagement with over 10,000 school children annually and a variety of community engagement projects around the county.

One thing that the Trust does not do is the handling and care of wild or domesticated animals. Nevertheless, a placement at the Trust will give you an insight into how nature reserves are cared for and managed, how we go about surveying and measuring the wildlife in these areas and how we engage with the local community on a range of environmental causes.
