Salary: Grade 1 £8.65 per hour plus benefits (Part-time 27.5 hours p/wk. over 5 days)

Do you want to help Warwickshire Wildlife Trust deliver its Environmental education programme? Are you experienced in outdoor learning, engaging the public and want to inspire children about the environment?

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust’s Education team is set for another busy summer with school trips, events and parties and we are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Assistant Education Officer (3 posts available) to join our team to help lead these sessions at both Brandon Marsh, Coventry and The Parkridge Centre, Solihull.

We need a person with a passion for wildlife and working with children to help us do this. Ensuring that all the children and families visiting our centers have a wonderful experience and take away a new found or enhanced love for nature.

A core part of your role will be being an effective team player, and supporting colleagues to deliver the wider objectives of the Education department.

The Role:
The Assistant Education Officer is responsible for all aspects of delivery of children’s parties, holiday events and school trips. Emphasis is on ensuring high quality customer care throughout the Centre’s services and facilities. The work includes setting up, tidying up and delivering activities, and supervising volunteers.

Closing date: Monday 11th February 2019 (12pm) 

Interviews: will be held on Friday 15th at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve.

Locations: Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, Brandon Lane, Coventry, CV3 3GW or Parkridge Centre, Brueton Park, Solihull, B91 3HW.
