Fundraising - Hold your own event

Whoever you choose to fundraise with and whatever you choose to do, your support will enable us to protect the county's wildlife and wild habitats for all to enjoy.

Fit your fundraising to your favourite hobbies! If you enjoy baking you couldt hold a cake sale. Opening your garden and charging people to visit may appeal to the green-fingered amongst you or if you enjoy spending an evening at your “local” why not hold a pub quiz? How about a "wild" fancy dress day at work - ditch the suit and come dressed as your favourite wildlife species!

To help you organise your event take a look at our top fundraising tips. Here are some other ideas if you want to...

Hold a competition – this could be anything from a football match to a guess the baby competition!

Do something entertaining – like a quiz night, auction, race night, coffee morning, dinner dance, garden party, fashion show, pamper party, Karaoke night, bingo night or a talent show.

Visit Dinner4Good for an easy way to hold a charity dinner. You can ask guests to donate online. Dinner4Good will collect gift aid and send the money to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, minus a small admin fee.

Organise a sale – plant sales, car boot sales and car washing are all good ways of raising money.

We're here to offer guidance and resources including collection tins and other materials. For more fundraising ideas or advice please contact us on 024 7630 2912 or email fundraising@wkwt.org.uk
