Marketing, Membership and Fundraising Volunteers

Marketing
The Marketing team is looking for volunteers to help publicise the Trust and its work.

This could involve delivering talks about the Trust and its work, assisting in the office with membership, appeals and corporate membership or representing the Trust at a variety of events across the county. This would involve manning the Trust's stand, talking to visitors about the Trust, membership, its work and events and possible volunteering opportunities.

Our social media and website volunteers provide assistance in the development of the Trust’s online social media and web presence in order to increase the profile of the Trust and its work in the region to a wider public. They help us to investigate future opportunities and emerging social media technologies which may provide opportunities for the trust to raise its profile. They also help to produce our members e-bulletin.

Are you happy to get stuck into admin tasks? Our Membership Team needs help with:

  • Putting together new membership packs
  • Preparing adopt-a-species packs to send out

  • Stock monitoring

Fundraising
Our fundraising volunteers work with the fundraising team to assist with grant applications and to promote the Trust in local communities and develop fundraising initiatives with them. Our hedgehog pin badge volunteers help us to develop relationships with local retailers and businesses and then place, monitor and empty our collection boxes.

Pin Badge Scheme Area Coordinator Volunteers
Are you keen to make a real difference for local wildlife? Do you enjoy getting out and about chatting to people? We need Pin Badge Scheme Area Coordinator volunteers across all parts of Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull to place and monitor five or more of our pin badge boxes at sites such as local businesses, garden centres, pubs and hotels in their area. The money raised from the boxes will support our work to protect wildlife and wild places across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull. The role is flexible and can fit around your commitments.

Wildlife Heroes
The wildlife of Warwickshire is special and diverse. However, its wonder is spoiled by the threats it faces. We need to act to save nature both for its intrinsic value and for the benefits it brings to us. We are looking for Wildlife Hero volunteers to help us to deliver exciting activities which inform people about their natural environment and the work of the Trust as well as helping to raise vital funds. The advantage of this role is you can do as little or as much as you like to suit your situation, skills and interests.
