Saying thank you to National Lottery players

Friday 1st December 2017

Princethorpe bid success

This Christmas we're thanking National Lottery players by offering ticket-holders a free treat. With a number of key projects at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust receiving funding through Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery we're thanking players by offering them free entry to Brandon Marsh Nature Centre.

Without National Lottery players, the £7.7billion of funding awarded to more than 42,000 heritage projects since 1994 by Heritage Lottery Fund, would not be possible. Since June 2004, the Big Lottery has awarded over £9 billion to projects supporting health, education, environment and charitable purposes.

Here at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust some fantastic projects have received funding from Heritage Lottery Fund including Princethorpe Woodlands Living Landscape scheme which was awarded over £1 million to restore important wildlife habitats in the areas lying between east Coventry, Rugby and north Leamington and reconnect people with these special places.

As a thank you, players with any lottery ticket or scratch card will get free entry to Brandon Marsh Nature Centre in the week 11th - 17th December 2017.

There will be a display at Brandon Marsh telling people about our lottery funded projects including Bubbenhall Wood and Meadow reserve, Princethorpe Woodlands Living Landscape, The Environment and Me project in Coventry and our water vole recovery project, 'Saving Ratty'.

Search this Google map to find all the 400+ free offers taking place between 11th-17th December 2017!
