Tender for design, build and installation of straight-tusked elephant sculptures

We're looking to appoint a sculptor to design, build and install straight-tusked elephant sculptures at Ryton Pools Country Park!

The sculptures will be installed by the end of September 2019 at the country park. Ryton Pools is one of four major visitor centres in the Dunsmore Scheme area. It was in nearby sand and gravel quarries that nationally important, half-million year old evidence for Heidelberg Man, Straight-tusked elephants and the Bytham River were discovered. The sculptures will sit alongside a monolith interpretation board and will form an iconic attraction and new landmark.

The quote should be submitted by 5pm on Monday 7th January 2019 (via email or post). No late submissions will be accepted. Shortlisting and the initial selection will be made by staff from Dunsmore Living Landscape Scheme and Warwickshire County Council.
