For something different, try a Really Wild Party this year. With brand new session this year our Really Wild Parties are suitable for children of all ages and they're available every weekend, some evenings and on weekdays during school holidays (subject to our holiday event timetable) for up to 20 children including the birthday child. Parties are hosted at both our Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, Coventry and our Parkridge Centre, Solihull.
Come and learn how to survive in the wild with our den building party, or help the fairies at a magical tea party or even get muddy looking for minibeasts. We offer a wide variety of themes, please see our information leaflet below for more information.
Time slots are available at 10.30 to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Parties can be booked to celebrate birthdays, the end of term, Christmas or other special events.
Each party lasts 1½ hours and is led by one of our Education Team at a cost of £90.00 including a free present and card for the birthday child. Most of this time will be spent outdoors and the rest will be doing a craft activity or games. A Pass the Parcel game can be organised for an additional cost of £5.00.

Please note that you can not bring your own party food to the Parkridge Centre (all food except cake must be bought from the café). A healthy option is available at The Parkridge Centre for £4.00.

Room capacities - A maximum of 20 children, please note we are not able to take more due to limited space and chairs.
Lunch bags - These usually consist of a roll, yoghurt, crisps, fruit and a drink.
Party gift bags - The values are reflected either in the number of items contained in the bag or fewer but higher priced items depending on your choice. You may add additional items but this must be done on the day of the party.
Running order – The party begins with a welcome by the ranger followed by a small craft session and then the outdoor activities.
Classroom access – For the birthday child parents, arrival time is 15 minutes before the start time of your party. Please note that to allow the ranger sufficient time to set up we are not able to grant access before this time. Invited parents and children should arrive at the party start time.
Decorations – You may bring a couple of simple decorations however these must be removed at the end of the party.
Younger children – Our minimum age suitability for the party activities is 3 years but you are welcome to bring younger siblings with you on the day of the party. These will not be included in the 20 children maximum capacity.
Weather – We aim to go ahead with the party no matter what the weather. Please ensure that all children are appropriately dressed for the outdoors, i.e. wellies and waterproofs etc.
"Naomi was so great with the children and every single one of them enjoyed themselves thoroughly. I don't think I've ever been to a party where at least one of the children hasn't been in tears at some point and miraculously there was not a single tear yesterday. Just a roomful of very happy kids and their parents!"
When I called I spoke to one of the Education Team who explained the range of different parties and themes and I instantly knew this was the "something different" I was looking for - from dinosaur to fairy themed parties, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust had such a wide range to suit both boys, girls and mixed parties of all ages. We chose a hedgehog party which my little boy was so excited about and his friends who he invited really intrigued.
When I spoke to the Education Team directly they gave lots of information and a real sense of what the party would include. The party started with some hedgehog arts and crafts, before the children put on their wellies and coats and headed over to the meadow for some hedgehog themed games, including digging for creepy crawlies and playing hide and seek in the woods area. Vicky, the Education Officer running the party, was fantastic - she kept all the children engaged and interested.
The party was a great success with lots of positive feedback from parents and plenty of "thank you for a brilliant time" from the children - I would definitely recommend a party (for any age) at Brandon Marsh - it's something a little different from the norm and absolutely excellent value for money."
