Wildfest @ Nelson's Wharf

A day dedicated to the wonders of Warwickshire’s wildlife! Plenty of activities to get you wild such as canal boat rides, crafts, games, and refreshments.

It's the perfect chance to do lots of random acts of wildness for 30 Days Wild too!

  • Free canal boat trips 
  • Minibeast hunting
  • Guided flower walk at 10.30 and 12. The meeting place for the walks will be signposted - enjoy the orchids!
  • Story telling

  • Face painting
  • Refreshments by Taste catering - hot bacon rolls, sausages, burgers, hot and cold drinks

  • Hook a duck
  • Raffle (and the draw!)

  • Discover Dunsmore Living Landscapes and try Hapa Zome, which is a Japanese art of bashing flowers and leaves between fabric to bring out the colours! 

Chat to our local wildlife experts on a guided walk, follow the wildlife trails as you explore Warwickshire Wildlife Trust’s Tasker’s Meadow and Stockton Cutting nature reserves with experts on hand to help you!

Wildfest @ Nelson's Wharf is held at Willow Wren, just off the A426 near Southam and 6 miles south of Rugby. It's almost opposite The Boat Inn.
