Education Garden at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre

Following the huge success of the new Sensory Garden at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre in 2011/12, we would like to continue to improve the site for visitors by redesigning the education garden at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre.

We have commissioned Lucy Hartley who designed the Sensory Garden to redesign the education garden. The Sensory Garden has been a huge success with visiting schools and we would like to extend the design into the currently overgrown education garden, providing facilities specifically for children such as improved lower level seating, improved planting, and improved interpretation. The design for the new garden will also been done with wildlife and native species in mind, providing food and shelter for wildlife and all year round interest for people.
