Woodland wellbeing for Armed Forces Veterans

Thanks to funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust are working in partnership with Achieving Results in Communities (ARC) to deliver ‘Wilder Wellbeing in the Woods’.

Veterans who have taken part said:

“The course is very good, enjoyable and worthwhile”

“I am really enjoying the course and gaining an awful lot from it both physically and mentally”

“Initial strangers became friends who share each other’s feelings and abilities”

What's the experience like?

Here's a quote from a veteran who experienced a Bushcraft course with us. After completing the course this veteran became a walks leader for The Ramblers Association’ in Coventry:

The group camaraderie enriched the experience, helping each person to learn and grow

Strangers became friends who now share each other’s feelings and abilities

Initial scepticism changed to enthusiasm thanks to the staff from TEaM and members of the group working together
