Woodland Wellbeing course
Thanks to funding from the European Social Fund, we will be offering ‘Woodland Wellbeing’
Woodland Wellbeing is a FREE 8-week course for anyone over 18 who is unemployed and aiming to re-enter employment or education.
Run in a peaceful woodland setting at Hams Hall Environmental Studies Centre, Coleshill, we will develop the soft skills needed to succeed in the work place whilst working in nature, benefitting nature and learning how nature can help in keeping us feeling well.
Opportunities include:
- Nature conservation tasks using hand tools
- Fire lighting using natural materials and techniques
- Cooking outdoors
- Natural crafts
- Shelter and hammock building
The course starts on Friday 16th October, 11am-3pm and runs on consecutive Fridays for 8 weeks with the last session on Friday 4th December.
