Purpose of your role: #TeamWilder is a way of enabling people to act for nature by bringing people together to take action for nature in their own way. A willingness to help motivate others to make a difference for wildlife in their local area by sharing stories and their actions for nature with a desire to engage with others to do the same.
More space for nature with more people on nature’s side #TeamWilder!
Tasks you will be involved with:
As an Acting for Nature Volunteer, you can take part in digital surveys throughout the year, promoting your acts for nature and wildlife in your local community, learning new skills e.g., storytelling, to promoting and raising awareness amongst others to encourage them to support the work of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
Skills and abilities required:
· A keen interest in conservation, sustainability and the state of nature.
· An interest in the work of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
· Ability to take part in digital surveys.
· Ability to share actions for nature across a range of social media channels.
· Friendly with good communication skills.
· A high level of enthusiasm, to help to motivate others whilst sharing your actions for nature.

Small acts for nature, depending on your space:
· Make a bug hotel.
· Put a hedgehog hole in your garden fence.
· Make a bird feeder.
· Make a wildflower area, in your garden or in pots.
· Create a wildlife pond.
· Grow your own vegetables, share with family, friends or neighbours.
· Make and put up a bird box.
· Make a hedgehog home.
· Create habitat piles.
· Wildlife gardening.
