Role title: Beaver Readiness Volunteer.
Purpose of your role: To assist with the development and implementation of the beaver readiness strategy in Warwickshire.
Tasks you will be involved with:
Supporting with beaver habitat suitability surveys and follow up mapping and recording.
Supporting the development of the beaver engagement strategy.
Developing content for beaver digital communications including drafting website content, newsletter information, blogs, etc.
Observing/supporting with the preparation and delivery of landowner and community engagement visits and events.
Skills and abilities required:
Flexible and adaptable, friendly team player.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Organised, methodical with good attention to detail.
Understanding the importance of confidentiality and willingness to undertake training in data protection.
Computer literate with administrative skills.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, GIS and other applications.
An interest in wildlife, conservation and the work of the Trust.
You will be based at: You will be based at home or could work from Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, CV3 3GW or Hams Hall Environment Centre, B46 1GA. Field visits are also possible as part of the role. (access to own transport essential).
Days and time we would like you to be available: From 1st October 2026 (14 hours per week on days to suit your availability with the potential to do more if interested).
